Statement on the So-Called American Communist Party (ACP)

Anticonquista, as a platform dedicated to advancing Latin America’s struggle against colonial-capitalist oppression, publicly and officially denounces the American Communist Party (ACP). The profound theoretical contradictions of this organization – attempting to reconcile Marxism with imperialist U.S. nationalism—are not the result of intellectual shortcomings but something far worse. The ACP serves as a vehicle for a handful of opportunistic internet personalities, self-styled as an “Executive Board,” who seek to elevate their individual profiles, social status, and financial gain rather than advance revolutionary struggle.

There is little value in seriously engaging with the ideological incoherence of their program except to note that their evident racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and anti-immigrant prejudices make it clear they are not an organization for the Latin American diaspora or any oppressed peoples. Their political line ultimately subordinates anti-colonial resistance to the interests of the imperial core, refusing to acknowledge the United States as a settler-colonial state built on genocide, enslavement, and super-exploitation.

However, it is evident that ACP leadership does not even hold these positions out of deep ideological conviction – and if they did, they would be our political enemies in a different sense. Instead, their opportunism drives them to appeal to a mass white base, viewing this demographic as the key to expanding their organization and, by extension, their personal benefits.

Moreover, the ACP’s leadership demonstrates a pattern of insular, authoritarian, and unaccountable behavior that mirrors the very bourgeois institutions it claims to oppose. It actively suppresses criticism, sidelines marginalized voices and maintains a structure that prioritizes careerist self-promotion over genuine class struggle and revolutionary organizing.

A truly revolutionary communist organization in the imperial core must place anti-colonial struggle and Global South solidarity at the center of its praxis – not as an afterthought, but as its foundation. The ACP has proven itself incapable of this, accommodating white supremacist tendencies rather than confronting them because its true objectives do not lie in revolutionary transformation.

We stand unequivocally with the oppressed, with the struggles of the Global South, with those who remain under foreign occupation in the imperial core, and with all those who refuse to compromise in the fight against colonialism, capitalism, and imperialism. Instead of paying “dues” to ACP, we invite people to support the revolutionary frontline in the homelands.

Oh yes absolutely. Thank you for saying that. I don’t care enough about their proximity to the conservatives to denounce that party as I do not view conservatives as worse than the liberals of the 1st world. But of course only ever give your precious hard earned money to those who are serious about imperialism and those are hard to come by in the 1st world…
I’m not vehemently opposed to the ACP, I do hope they can bury the CPUSA for good for instance, but of course I do not trust it. I’d never trust a communist party of “America”, they are not even acknowledging their other American comrades, it fits well with their basic US first mindset…
